About

Welcome to my weblog. This is not a news publication and does not try to be one. It is merely my way of offering my personal opinion on various subjects, exercising my First Amendment right of free speech while we still have that right (in part, at least).

In case you are not familiar with the First Amendment to our Constitution, here it is:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Notice that the right of all Americans to freedom of speech comes before the right of a free press; I point that out to illustrate that free speech is the right of every American, not just the right of the established corporate owned news media as some devious types in politics erroneously believe.

My political views are a bit uncommon in today’s world. I am not a Republican nor a Democrat; I have no current affiliation with any party, although I was once a "working man’s Republican" of the old Eisenhower type.  I am an Independent, leaning a bit toward Libertarian, with a very strong belief and pride in the European heritage and culture that founded our country. Yup, a White Anglo Saxon Protestant, and damn proud of it. If that offends you, then you are at the wrong website; take your sorry butt elsewhere.

This same heritage sustained our country from the American revolution through World War Two and the Eisenhower era. While still strong, that heritage has been under almost constant attack by politically radical forces since the middle sixties and the onslaught of the hippies, draft resistors, anti-Christian bigots and the totally misnamed civil rights movement.

I absolutely abhor political hype– politically correct words and phrases, if you will–as well as the phonies who practice it. Politically  correct terms are designed solely for the purpose of  deceiving.

For example, "diversity" once meant differences of opinion or religion; now it is used to suggest that it is somehow a good thing to bring in enough immigrants of a non-European culture to completely eradicate the main voting block in America– especially the middle class– and to establish a non-unified, chaotic culture that can be more easily manipulated by the weasels currently in power.

As for our sorry Senate and House of mis-Representatives, I have never before seen such poor and ineffective examples of self interest, egoism and outight deception in decades. It is my sincere opinion that political pukes the likes of Harry Reid, Pelosi, Boxer, Barney Frank and last but not at all the least, Obama and his socialistic aims must be voted out of office before our country can even begin to heal and return to better times.

On second thought, just impeach the whole sick and sorry lot of them.

Will Rogers once said about politicians, "You have to be loaded just to get beat". It is nearly impossible for a working class man or woman to be elected to any high political office, no matter what their level of intelligence, honesty or competence may be.

I want to make it clear that I do not have any political preferences other than for the ethical and moral integrity of the individuals in office. I suppose that a belief in moral integrity is a bad thing in the eyes of some current political and media miscreants, and it is certainly a politically incorrect idea. So be it. As far as I am concerned, "political correctness" is a four-letter word that rhymes with excrement.

We need honest, up-front and plain talk in these times from our elected officials– not terms and cliches that are designed only to be deceptive hype. At one time laws were passed to promote truth in advertising; it is high time that a law was passed to promote truth in politics. Case in point: "Affirmative Action", meaning legalized discrimination of whites, enacted by the same bunch of hypocrits who claim to believe in civil rights.

Unfortunately, it is my sincere opinion that we have elected a slick, obviously narcissistic character to the presidency who is an absolute master of political hype, doubletalk and misdirection (as long as his teleprompter is working).

The actions and words of the current mis-Administration and un-representative Congress have left me with a growing concern over what is now happening to both my heritage and my country.
